Post True Stack and Tilt Reply with quote
Is the Swing that you and Dana teach follow the Stack and Tilt by Andy and Mike or is it some variation of it? What I've seen of the Andy Plummer and Mike Bennet swing, the look of it is dfifferent than what Dana's video shows but somewhat similar. I am fortuante enough to be near Long Beach and will be calling to take lessons.

One thing I found was I really have to tilt, or what feels like a tilt toward the target. This seems to happen automatically if you keep your head from moving back. I, like many other players who have tried this, hit solid irons that basicaly just go straight. But I have the same problem that many seem to have which is it tends not to lend itself well to the driver swing or even a fairway wood which you are sweeping rather than hitting down. Any comment on this?

Aim Left but still closed stands, feet flair out,,,,,,,,ball back a little,,,,,and then push straight? When only getting push straight and push right, how can I make the ball come back in. Do I have the face too open at P1,or too much grip pressure?

If hitting straight pushes and push rights, there are two things we can gather. Your face is open to your target at impact (ball starting to the right). And then your swing is not in to out enough compared to your face angle to make it draw (ball staying out right or even cutting).

We can't tell you exactly what it is because we don't have any video. But if the push is not severe, and its flying pretty straight most of the time or even cutting, I would say you are not quite CF enough. Just my guess without video. Now if it is a severe push and it is staying straight, then your path is probably fine and your face is far too open.

From there you should be able to diagnose yourself. Or post a video. Dana and Mike can take care of you from there!

Nice . .. In addition face could be way too open . . . or may not be releasing #4 and have too much out.

Axis tilt means tilt to target or vice versa?
