A golf round typically lasts four and half hours, it is extremely important to eat properly to maintain energy throughout the round. The typical golfer might grab a beer, hotdog or candy at the turn; only to have a quick burst of energy and later crash on twelve or thirteen. Some great alternatives for long lasting energy are nuts, fruits and bars. My favorite nuts are almonds, peanuts, walnuts, pecans and pistacios. Apples, bananas and oranges are among the best fruits. My favorite health bars are "kind fruit and nut bars" and "think products".
