First S&T steps way abroad |
|
Hi there folks,
I first noticed S&T when reading about Aaron Baddeley having switched to it and didn’t give it too much attention.
Rather by accident I came across Danas forum respectively his numerous videos. That really got something started.
I only read the Golf Digest article on Stack and Tilt in addition but most of all I studied Danas lessons (which took quite some hours , without being bored once though).
Now, I recently tried to implement the S&T fundamentals on the range. The ballhitting was not too overwhelming I have to say, but I’m also full aware that it’s first things first. Over here in Germany there probably is no teacher of S&T, so I will have to rely on video and you guys !!
After reviewing my swing I was not too impressed with myself either.
The only thing I really got going was keeping the weight on the left side and may be having a steeper shoulder angle.
The path of the clubhead is awful (as ever), as is the swing plane. I really would like to keep a better connection between arms and torso as this has always been a weak point in my swing; it was a major reason to try out S&T to be honest.
My nemesis was: across the line at the top, steep in transition, shallow + inside coming into the ball –all leading to pushes, hooks, inconstant ballhitting
Anyway, here are my swings to let you guys have a glimpse at them and I sure am ready for some bonecrushing criticism

Thanks to Dana and everyone putting so much effort into this forum.
Cheers everyone
Jochen

Wow great swing you have there so much tighter looking. Keep getting you arms in as the first move away from the ball. Otherwise keep up the good work.
BTW -Good German food is my favorite!!!!
