About Mental Apex

I would like to welcome you to the Mental Apex forum index. In this forum you will be able to learn the importance of the mental game and how it can help take your golf game to the next level. You will also be able to post questions relating to your experiences playing golf, while at the same time I will intrigue the way perceive the game of golf and how you approach each swing, each hole, and each round.

A little about myself. I am a Mental Skills Trainer with over a decade of experience. I have had the luxury of experiencing the demands of competition first hand, coaching at various levels utilizing a mental approach philosophy, and working with individual athletes and teams on the development of mental skill techniques. I have helped lead two Long Beach State Men's golfers to the Big West Tournament Championship two years in a row (Ryan Panichpakdee, 2006; Brett Lederer, 2007). Brett also won the 2007 Long Beach City Amatuer Championship by 4 strokes.

My educational experience includes Masters of Science in Sport Psychology – California State University, Long Beach and Bachelors of Arts in Psychology – California State University, Long Beach.
